Step 1: What happens when your car breaks down?
Breakdowns can happen at any time, and when they do, you need to react quickly. Whether your car won’t start or has suffered serious damage after an accident, be sure you know who to call first. Our dedicated recovery service will come out to you quickly and transport your vehicle back to our repair centre – saving you time and money in those moments of panic. And if you have comprehensive insurance, we’ll even deal with your insurance company on your behalf. All you need to worry about is getting yourself home safely.
Step 2: Start at the Source
Usually, when you lock your keys inside your car, it’s a real rush to get them back as soon as possible. Unfortunately, if you call a Bridgnorth car recovery service at 2:00 p.m., you probably won’t get someone there for two hours. The best way to find out how long they will take is to ask what their response time is (usually 30 minutes or less) and then ask how long it takes from that point until they are actually with you and ready to start working on getting your car open. This information can be found on their website or by calling their main number and asking directly.
Step 3: After you make contact with us
If your car is recovered we will collect it from where it has been abandoned. If you are unable to recover your vehicle we will keep it for 7 days for free, after which time we may have to charge you a storage fee of up to $35 per day. Once we have charged a storage fee any outstanding monies will be payable before your vehicle can be released to you. In addition to our normal recovery charges there will also be an administration fee of $100.00 and if your vehicle requires any repairs they will be carried out at our standard labour rates plus parts cost (if applicable). We reserve the right to refuse service and/or not carry out repairs that do not fall within our normal services or that we consider excessive. All work undertaken by us is guaranteed for 12 months unless otherwise stated on invoice. All vehicles must be left unlocked with keys inside and all valuables removed before recovery.
Step 4: We are on our way!
Upon receiving your vehicle, we will carry out a number of checks to ensure that you can make a full recovery. Any faults with your vehicle will be communicated and you will be given options as to how they can be fixed.
